Picked this little guy up at an anime convention... i couldnt resist.. It says "konnichiwa" and somthing else in Japanese which i dont understand.. it is triggered by light through a little hole in the front.

 

 

It now has a 1/4" audio output, a 1/8" trigger input, a switch that shuts off the speaker (its really loud!) and a breakout box with a switch that makes it get all high pitched, and a human contact point that sends it into low pitched rumblings.

sometimes in the morning when the sun comes in the window he becomes talkative and awakens me with a stream of variously pitched japanese greetings..
